We're even more official! Today, we receieved a letter from the IRS informing us our application for exemption from federal income tax
under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) has been approved.
We are now an officially recognized 501(c)(3) Nonprofit. We will be able to seek out grant opportunities, as well as tax-deductible contributions. Also, future donations will be tax deductible under IRC Section 170. We have a few logistical things we're working on, such as setting up our bank account and getting our finances in order.
We're estatic that we were approved so quickly and we would like to thank all of our donors and sponsors. We wouldn't be here without every one of you. Thanks for the continued support!
